• Join us March 11th at 6pm for a Community Conversation with Dr. Jenkins, MMSD Superintendent.
    This series focuses on various topics, including reopening MMSD buildings, and features school board members, central office leaders, health experts and district staff.
  • Starting March 8, all students will have asynchronous learning on Mondays instead of Wednesdays.
  • MMSD will begin a phased return to in-person instruction, starting with Kindergarten students, March 9th.
    Additional grade levels will be transitioned back to in-person on a weekly basis, while virtual learning will remain an option for all students who wish to continue learning from home.
  • Early Literacy and Beyond Task Force
    MMSD and the UW-Madison School of Education have formed a joint Early Literacy and Beyond Task Force to work toward improving reading outcomes and reducing achievement gaps.
  • Madison voters approved two referendum questions, lifting Madison up as a thriving, equitable, and inclusive community for generations to come.

  • Seniors: How are you paying for college? The FAFSA application opens today!
    All seniors, regardless of your family’s income, should complete this application, which will qualify you for grants, loans, scholarships and work-study. The application is open today and should be completed as soon as possible.
