A representative from following colleges will be in Student Service today: University of Chicago at 10:00, Creighton University at 11:30, Lane College at 1:00 and Winona State University at 2:00. Thursday will feature UW Stout at 8:30, Coe College at 10:00, UMN Mankato at 11:45, Cornell College at 2:00 and Northern Michigan University at 2:30. Swarthmore College will visit on Friday at 9:30 and Southern Methodist University Dallas will be represented at 10:45.

Tickets for the homecoming dance will be on sale during lunch through Thursday. Tickets are $10 each and a reminder that your ID card is your ticket to get into the dance. Stop in the Main Office during lunch today if you do not have an ID card. This is your last call to obtain a student ID for the dance.

Stomp out cancer at the Light of Life Walk. Join us tonight at 6:00 pm at Mansfield Stadium to support Peer Partners and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A suggested donation of $5.00 is asked but not required. Registration forms are in all the neighborhood offices. Break out the ‘orange’ so wear orange to the walk!

If you are interested in participating in the Homecoming International Flag Parade at the football game on Friday, please contact Ms. Anne’ in Room 506 to sign up. We welcome your help in celebrating the diversity of our JMM community.

Students interested in attending the Historically Black College and University Fair at East High School on November 1st must see Mrs. Brown by Friday to register.

Freshmen who are planning to participate in the student/staff kickball game after the Light of Life Walk should stop by Room 656 during lunch today to check in with Ms. Wilcox.

Staff and students are invited to hear Oscar Mireles, writer, education and poet laureate, this Thursday in the Rock Study Center during lunch.

The Native American Student Association will meet on Thursday during lunch in the back of the Library. New members are always welcome.
