A representative from UW Eau Claire will be in Student Service today at 9:30. The following colleges will be represented next week: Scripps College, NYU, St. Olaf, UW Milwaukee, UW Madison, Beloit College, Macalester College, University of Chicago, Creighton University, Lane College, UW Stout, Coe College, UMN Mankato, Cornell College, Northern Michigan University, Swarthmore College and Southern Methodist University of Dallas.

Attention all PEOPLE program students. ACE will begin on Monday after school in the Rock Study Center. All freshmen in the PEOPLE program are required to attend daily until further notice. See Mrs. Brown if you have questions.

Students applying for the United States Senate Youth Program must submit their name to Mr. Affeldt no later than Monday. 

9th and 10th   grade boys interested in participating in boys’ basketball this season should attend an informational meeting today at noon in the Rock Neighborhood Center. If you have any questions see Coach Slempkes.

There are still spaces available for the PSAT test. See Ms. Zander in Student Services.

Senior t-shirts have arrived and can be picked up from Ms. Glaaser in Room 803 before or after school this week and sophomore t-shirts can be picked up from Ms. Geerdes in Room 616 during lunch or after school.

Book Club will meet today after school to discuss The Age of Miracles and The Art of Racing in the Rain. New members welcome!

Last call for Mock Trial Club Applications! All applications must be turned in to Ms. Burda by the end of school on Monday. Applications may be picked up outside Room 853. For more information see Ms. Burda.

Freshmen! Homecoming is next week and we will still do not have a banner or window painted to represent us. Please meet Ms. Wilcox outside Room 665 today at lunch to get started!

It’s a bitter disappointment that we need to announce there will not be popcorn today. You can look forward to the popcorn wagon again on October 13th.
