Summit Credit Union’s Project Teen Money Video Scholarship program is accepting applications. All you need do to apply is create a 30 to 60 second video of ‘why you want to teach other kids about money,’ upload your application video and apply at: www.summitcreditunion.com/projectteenmoney. Two students from LaFollette, Memorial and East will be selected for the program from the applicants; will you be one of them? Deadline to apply is November 18th.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it is time to express our gratitude to those around us. This Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at lunch, Student Support Foundation will be selling Gratitude Grams. Each Gratitude Gram will cost $2.00 and will consist of a thank you note and festive candy. You can send them to friends, teachers, and staff members of your choice. They will be delivered the following week to each person. Purchase your Gratitude Grams at lunch in the cafeteria.
An important announcement from SYS (Spartan Youth Service) Spartan Green! We want your clothes! Please bring clothing to donate next Monday through Friday to the A wing foyer before school and during lunch. Clothing will be donated to those in need and recycled to help our environment.
