Badger Boys State and Badger Girls State will be held in June. This is a government and leadership conference designed to educate on the functions of government and to develop leadership skills. This activity is open to JUNIORS only; just two girls and two boys will be selected to represent Memorial. Don’t miss the spring musical CURTAINS! Performances are February 9th and 10th in the Auditorium; all performances begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets will be sold during lunch or can be ordered online via the link on the JMM website. All tickets are $10.00.
Human Rights Week is February 26th through March 2nd. There will be a Multicultural Talent show to close out the week on March 2nd, 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Auditorium. If you are a performer, an aspiring model or just want to be on the planning committee please see Mrs. Brown this week.

The Student Activist Club is collecting donations of household items such as cleaning supplies, toilet paper and laundry supplies for families transitioning into housing. Items can be dropped off in Student Service all week.
If you are looking for something unique to give your sweetheart, friend or a JMM staff member for Valentine’s Day, think Singing Valentines! Singing Valentines will be sold in the cafeteria during lunch this Thursday and next Monday only. There are many songs to choose from and all proceeds will benefit Memorial’s vocal music department. Singing Valentines are just $5.00 and you can add a rose with your delivery for a mere $3.00 more.
JMM’s new Yoga Club will kick off tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 7:20 am in the dance studio. All are welcome to come and gain strength and flexibility.
K-Pop Club is a new group to promote and inform people of the Korean wave that is rapidly expanding around the world. Learn about Korean culture and music by playing games, watching dramas and eating Korean food. Everyone is welcome. K-Pop meets every Wednesday from 3:55 pm to 5:00 pm; no reason the SYS members can’t join in after their SYS meeting.
All students who would like to sing in a choir at Memorial next year should see Mrs. Pitt in Room 200 by the end of the day on Thursday in order to set up an audition.
Captains Practices for all girls interested in playing soccer this spring is every Thursday morning, 6:00 to 7:15 am in the Fieldhouse until tryouts in March. Get ready for the season with your teammates. See coach Patton if you have questions.
