Super Hero Family Game Night is set for this Friday evening. Come join the Super Hero Club for a potluck and an evening of playing games, a night of Food, Family and Fun. Don’t forget to bring along your favorite potluck dish! The fun begins at 5:30 pm in the Wisconsin Neighborhood Center.
Equestrian Club will host a bake sale after school today in the A Foyer. All proceeds will be donated to the Abandoned Pet Project.
Any girl interested in playing soccer this spring must attend one of the following mandatory meeting tomorrow, either during Captain’s practice at 6:00 am in the Field House, during flex time in Room 861 or after school in Room 861.
If you have a pet or just love animals, become a member of the Animal Club. You will have the chance to hang out with animals, from social pets to farm pets and exotic animals while learning about them as well. Animal Club meets every Thursday at 3:45 pm in the Library. Students, if you are involved in planning the All School Read, a group planning meeting will be held on Thursday during lunch in the Library. Bring your lunch!
If you are a 9th or 10th grade student interested in going into any area of education and would like a scholarship similar to the PEOPLE program, stop in A Foyer conference room on Thursday during 4th hour. You must have a pass from your teacher in order to attend. Learn how you can receive up to $70,000 in financial aid to become an educator. For more information see Mrs. Brown in Student Service.
Human Rights Week is April 9th through the 13th. Various activities will be taking place during this week. If you would like to participate in the Multicultural Explosion Talent and Fashion Show on April 12th see Mrs. Brown by this Friday.
The Student Activist Club continues to collect donations for household cleaning supplies. A donation bin is located in Student Services.
All are welcome to come to JMM’s Yoga Club this Thursday morning from 7:20 to 8:00 in the dance studio. Join in to gain strength and flexibility to start your day off right. Bring your own mat or use one of their mats.
JMM students and their families are invited to attend the annual Post-High School Options Night this Monday, March 12th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. You will have the opportunity to attend three of the following sessions: UW Madison, Madison College, Edgewood College, UW Financial Aid; FAFSA 101, UW 4 Year Schools, Military Options, Apprenticeship Opportunities and Americorps.
