One final pitch for Spirit Day – your permission form and planned absence must be returned to your neighborhood office by the end of today in order to participate in Spirit Day on Friday. There will be no exceptions.

This Friday is the Day of Silence, a day to show support for LGBTQ+ people and to raise awareness around issues of bullying and silencing this community. Please show your support by staying silent on Friday and by picking up an awareness ribbon in the A-wing Foyer before school.

The Social Activist Club is hosting a showing of the Netflix documentary ‘13th’ today at 5:00 pm in the Auditorium. A discussion will follow and pizza and snacks will be provided. You must have a signed permission slip to attend the showing; forms are available in all the neighborhood offices.
If you are interested in giving back to your community, would like to gain some community service hours, or simply want to volunteer, sign up to help with Memorial’s annual rummage sale this Saturday. Student volunteers are needed on Thursday afternoon, all day Friday, and Saturday morning to help organize donations and connect with community members at the sale. If you are looking for a fun community service opportunity come join the International Soccer Club and members of the Spartan Girls Soccer Teams as we coach students from Huegel Elementary in the art of playing ‘the beautiful game’ in conjunction with the Millenium Soccer Club of Madison. The first session is this Saturday, 9:00 to 11:00 am at Huegel and will be meet for six consecutive Saturday’s, until May 27th.
