If you have a knack for writing, staying up to date with school events, sports and news, join Sword & Shield, Memorial’s official newspaper.  Editors are needed for the 2018-19 school year.  Talk with Ms. Ford or find them online at for more information.  Make the ‘write’ decision!  Apply for an editor position today!  Applications are due Friday.

Don’t miss the spring play, 12 Angry Jurors, by Reginald Rose.  Tickets will be sold during lunch and will also be available at the door on the evenings of the performances.  Cost for a ticket is $5.00; performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm. 

Seniors, it is Senior Picnic time and the date is set for Friday, May 25th.  Permission forms are available in all the neighborhood offices and must be returned to the Wisconsin Office no later than May 23rd.  Remember, if you want to ride the same bus with your friends, return your permissions forms in at the same time.

Seniors, you are on a roll.  The Senior Class Party is set for Saturday, May 26 in the Fieldhouse from 9:00 pm to 12:30 am.  Tickets are $15.00.  Permission slips and money are due in the Wisconsin Office by May 23rd.  Get bonus raffle tickets if you turn them in by this Friday!!

Seniors, more news!  Your library materials are due by TOMORROW unless you have made arrangements with Ms. Amado or Ms. Schmitz for an extension.  Take care of our overdue books!

Join the Native American Student Association on Monday, May 21st in the Library during PCT for viewing of the documentary ‘Awake: A Dream from Standing Rock” and a short discussion.

The Super Hero Club Field Trip to Westfield Comics and Pizza Hut is today.  All those who signed up should meet in the Commons at 3:45.

The Uproot Food Truck will be here today during lunch.  This week you can enjoy Korean sliders with a Moroccan carrot salad.

The final Art Show has just opened in the Art Gallery.  Be sure to stop by and see the great art work of several accomplished Memorial students.

The JMM Scholarships will be announced to staff and students today at 12:30 pm in the Lit Center.  Everyone is welcome.
