  • Congratulations to Rebecca Cutforth for being chosen a National Merit scholarship recipient!  Rebecca’s college plan is to study environmental policy.

Good luck to all of you taking Advanced Placement exams.  Exams run through this Friday.

The last day for High School students will be June 3rd. We continue to put together ways to celebrate seniors and the end of the school year. We look forward to the Senior Honors convocation and virtual graduation celebrations.

Our plan for graduation has been evolving quickly.  MMSD is partnering with WISC TV to create a professionally-produced end product. Our graduation will be broadcast live on television during primetime for everyone in the Madison area to view and celebrate with you at 7pm on 6/13 on WISC, channel 3.  In addition, student photos will be featured in a special issue of Madison Magazine and student graduation photographs will be featured on digital city-wide billboards.

Summer speed and strength is ready for you starting June 1st with 5 weeks of virtual Spartan Speed and Strength led by our coaches.  Registration forms and information will be emailed to returning athletes and all students can find the forms @SpartanJMM and on the athletics website.  This will be a great way to get back in shape and get ready for when we can return to in-person gatherings.

Great job connecting with virtual learning and each other, stay engaged, stay connected and never hesitate to reach out for help.
