We post them in the chronological order that they are due, beginning in September.   Remember to check Eligibility Requirements.  It takes time to fill out an application, but you can get good at doing them efficiently, and you can't win money you don't apply for.  Good luck!!!!

What: Recognize student leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement.

AES Enginerring Scholarship

What: The AES Engineering Scholarship offers high school students the opportunity to further their education. Any high school student is eligible; the scholarship is awarded based on an essay application.

Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship

 

What:The Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship is available to high school seniors who participate in at least one of the 27 sports officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools. You must have at least a "B" average to qualify for this award. Selection is based on academic achievements, community service involvement, and athletic accomplishments.

Coca Cola Scholarship

 

What:The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited post - secondary institution in the U.S. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must be one of the following: US citizen; US national; US permanent resident; temporary resident (in a legalization program); refugee; asylee; Cuban-Haitian entrant; or humanitarian parolee. Home-schooled students may also apply.

What: The Jackie Robinson Scholarship provides minority students who aspire to attend college with financial aid and extensive guidance.

Wisconsin Society for Clinical Laboratory Science Scholarship

What: Students interested in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science and Medical Laboratory Science should strongly consider this award. Students must attend an accredited university in the State of Wisconsin.

Eligibility: Senior who is attending a Wisconsin University, enrolled in one of the aforementioned problems and interested in Science.

County Office Scholarship

What: Semi-annual scholarship based on an exciting prompt related to the role of government in adolescent lives.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Scholarship

What: Scholarship for students who seek to pursue higher education in a STEM Field at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin, Madison, University of California, Berkeley, Imperial College of London, Fudan University, China.

Eligibility: Students who are pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field

What: Scholarships for female applicants residing in Dane County who will continue their education in a professional, business or entrepreneurial major. Students should demonstrate financial need and overall academic excellence and community involvement.

Varsity Tutors Scholarship

AXA Achievement Scholarship

What:Current high school seniors with ambition and self-drive are eligible for the diverse array of scholarships the AXA has to offer. Seniors who have or are actively working to reduce risk behaviors in the community are strongly encouraged to apply.

What: This national program awards scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home. J

What:Paul Mitchell The school is available to recent graduates as well as high school seniors who are interested in a career in cosmetology at the Paul Mitchell The School. Application for scholarship is included in the application process to the school.

What: Up to three Dane County high school seniors who plan to enroll in Edgewood College will receive a four-year full-tuition scholarship. This award covers the cost of full-tuition, course supplies, a laptop and books. While enrolled, awardees must demonstrate academic excellence and perform 200 hours of community service annually.

Madison South Rotary Club Scholarships

What: Up to ten graduating high school seniors who are continuing their education will receive $1,000 scholarships. Seniors should demonstrate financial need and preference will be given to those attending Madison Area Technical College (Madison College).

UW Credit Union Scholarship

What: The UW Credit Union Community Values Scholarship will award $2000 to seven students who meet the following criteria: qualify for free or reduced hot lunch, have a high school GPA of 3.0 or greater, volunteer in the community, attend any UW System or Madison College in the fall of 2016. Be a 2016 graduating senior at a  high school in Dane County.

What: Madison Area Retired Educators’ Association (MAREA) is offering scholarship grants of $1,500 to three high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in education. To apply, any senior planning to become a teacher needs to write an essay describing why they want to teach.

UW-Madison Leaders in Engineering Excellence and Diversity (LEED) Scholarship

What: Students who are interested and planning to apply to the UW-Madison College of Engineering should strongly consider applying for this scholarship. Students who receive this prestigious scholarship will receive mentoring, valuable insight and be invited to join the LEED community. All high school seniors are eligible.

David McLimans Memorial Art Scholarship

What: Madison public high school seniors interested in art should consider submitting an original piece of artwork related to the theme “Why War is NOT the Answer”. The artist creating the best piece of artwork will win $1,200 to attend Madison Area Technical College (Madison College).

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship

What: All African-American seniors who are planning to attend a two or four-year university or college are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA and demonstrate six months of community service.

What: Madison public high school seniors interested in writing should consider writing an original essay on the topic “Why I Believe War and Violence is not the Answer”. The writer of the best essay will win $1,200 to attend Madison Area Technical College (Madison College).

AED Superstore College Scholarship

What: Sudden cardiac arrest is an increasingly common medical condition that many people are unaware of. This scholarship opportunity aims to raise awareness of the condition by challenging students to create a public service announcement.
