Strengthening community and family partnerships is one of the Memorial's key strategic priorities for school improvement. We welcome community involvement in our school and partnership programs, and encourage interested individuals to explore the range of options available (see examples below). Thank you for exploring volunteer opportunities with James Madison Memorial High School and the Madison school district. We appreciate your interest in supporting Madison's students, and look forward to working with you in the near future.
Community volunteers are welcomed in our schools. You do not need to have prior experience or any formal training; we will provide you with the resources and support you need to have a successful experience. To get started, find the right volunteer opportunity for you:

If you have a bachelor's degree, you can mentor a student and share some of your real-life experiences. A mentor is both a friend and a counselor, providing advice and guidance that help students meet the challenges of high school and prepare them for the college experience.
